Psalm 28 Verse 1
ON LY YOU, LORD, ARE A MIGHTY ROCK!
Next time you open up with prayer, why don't you try doing this: Thank You, Jesus! See where it leads you...
Have you ever felt out of place or like you've lost yourself. And you have no idea where in the world to begin to even search? I did and at times I still do. I think it has to do with the whole baby news getting physically excited and then emotionally disappointed. My husband (Carlos) and I really had high hopes this time... I mean I wanted this pregnancy so bad. Everyone kept telling us its OK it just wasn't the right time yet. When it is it will be the most happiest time of your life. SHUT UP!!!!!!!! That's all I got to say.. I mean you can't really say that unless it has happen to you.. So just Shut up!... Sorry guys I just had to get that off of my chest...

I would like to not only embark on a wonderful new journey but I would like to help others while I'm doing it. So Thank you in advance for taking this journey with me!

A Prayer of Praise
Psalm 27:1-3
You, Lord, are the light that keeps me safe. I am not afraid of anyone. You protect me, and I have no fears. Brutal people may attack and try to kill me, but they will fall. Armies may surround me but I won't be afraid; War may break out, but I WILL TRUST YOU.
Ok so yesterday I watched Pastor R.A. Vernon from the Word Church (here in Cleveland/Akron Area Ohio) and he said something that made the most absolute sense to me. "Fasting will NOT draw you closer to God!" In fact, his example was this: When you want to draw closer to someone what do you do? Do you stop eating or stop watching or listening to the media to draw closer? Or do you talk to them and spend time with them to get to know them? I totally AGREE with his metaphor. Now let me be clear by stating he NEVER said you should not fast. Pastor Vernon simply said fast for the right reasons. You see a lot of people fast because they feel that they can draw closer with the Lord... which is true in some aspects but its only for a couple of days and a lot them go back to the drinking, and partying. You see the cycle? God wants you to fast yes, but not for the wrong reasons... He is omnicient and omnipresent... He sees all and knows all.. so when you stop eating for a couple of days after 2years of messing your life up... God doesn't change you after because he already knows you are going to go right back to the mess of a life you had created yourself...Once again I NEVER said not to fast... but Please do it all for the right reasons... So my question is what's yours?
