It is wonderful to be grateful and to sing your praises, Lord Most High! It is wonderful each morning to tell about your love and at night to announce how faithful you are. I enjoy praising your name to the music of harps, because everything you do makes me happy, and I sing joyful songs. PSALM 92 :1-4
I believe it is a wonderful thing when you can start something out with a scripture. OK, Please bare with me. I had tried this once before and failed. I've grown since then and I would like to start my journey off to a good start this time! Hello, my name is T. Thompson. I was born and raised in Virginia and about three years ago I moved here to Cleveland, OH. I'm married to the most beautifully spirited man I have ever met. His name is Carlos. I guess you can say he is my High School sweetheart. We have been together for 7 years now and married for almost two. Each and everyday we embark on new challenges and success. I honestly have to say Thank You to the Man upstairs because he definitely knew what he was doing! OK.. so I guess you are wondering why I decided to start up another blog (remember the 1st one failed miserably). Well I wanted to be able to make a difference in the lives of others, regardless of gender or nationality.
Being only 23 I still have LOTS to LEARN! We are now on day 18 of the New Year and I haven't began to set out on the goals I have written down. Like increasing my income, becoming more healthier (who can do that when McDonalds is down the street!) and becoming a better Child of God! Before I became married I was really a care free person. Not to say I did not care about anyone or anything but I was free to make my own decisions and not have to worry about my actions so to speak. I grew up in a fairly large close knit family. ( I am the biggest Daddy's Girl ever) So when I moved up here to Ohio to be with my husband I felt so alone and abandonned at times. Don't get me wrong my husband's family is great and all but they weren't what I was use too. Not too many people could have dealt with a 5 year long distance relationship. I get that, but I would not have wanted it any other way. You really get to know the person in a long distance relationship. Carlos and I would talk for hours and hours. haha some nights we wouldn't even sleep! The Lord Almighty has really brought us through a mighty long way. Now we are working on a family. Currently we have a dog ( boxer/hound...Bound) he is such a spoilied baby but I love him dearly. Its just time to start having some children of our own now.
In the next couple of weeks I will be talking to you ( whom ever is listening to me ramble) about my goals and dreams. Like becoming a better Child of God. A better wife as well as a person. If you ever have any questions, comments, concerns or just want to say hello, please DO NOT hesitate! Until tomorrow this is the Virginia Gal saying goodnight!
